Orange County man is the brother-in-law of Osama bin Laden’s Security
Coordinator

24 February 2009: How did it get to our neighborhood? That was the
question asked by Julie Galvan, a neighbor of Ahmadullah Sais NIAZI,
who was arrested last week at his house located in a quiet suburban
street in Tustin, California. Look closely; it is in many
neighborhoods throughout the United States and Canada – a direct
result of a determined enemy taking advantage of years of lax
immigration enforcement, an active “fifth column” of Islamic
fundamentalists who have been permitted to infiltrate nearly all
levels of our government, acquiescence to demands of multiculturalism,
and a convoluted understanding of our enemy. It will be coming to your
neighborhood, if it is not already present.
Ahmadullah Sais NIAZI, (a/k/a Ahmadullah KHAN, Ahmadullah SAIS,
Ahmadullah Sais KHAN, Ahmadullah Khan SAIS) 34,of Tustin, California
was arrested by federal authorities last week, charged with perjury,
naturalization fraud, procuring a passport by fraud and making a false
statement. The charges stem from an investigation that determined that
NIAZI lied on his naturalization papers. He became a U.S. citizen
about five years ago. NIAZI came to the U.S. on a tourist visa in 1998
but became a permanent resident after marrying his wife, Jamilah
Romlas AMIN, who was born in Cambodia and became a U.S. citizen in
1992. Until his arrest, NIAZI lived with his wife and three young
children at his Charloma Drive home in Tustin.
According to information developed from the investigation and
presented in a federal indictment, NIAZI has direct affiliations with
al Qaeda, the Taliban and Hezb-e-Islami, an Islamic terror group
fighting U.S. troops in Afghanistan, and is related to Dr. Amin al-HAQ
(a/k/a Muhammad AMIN), the security coordinator for Osama bin Laden.
According to the indictment, NIAZI traveled from LAX to Pakistan,
where he personally met with al-HAQ, a known terrorist operative.
If convicted on all five counts, NIAZI could get 35 years in prison
and a fine of up to $1.25 million, and/or face deportation.
NIAZI was arraigned in federal court Friday afternoon in front of U.S.
Magistrate Judge Arthur Nakazato. During the proceedings, NIAZI became
upset when he learned that his private attorney “declared a conflict
of interest” and would not be able to represent him. NIAZI declined
representation by a federal public defender, prompting Judge Nakazato
to order a brief recess. The nature of the reported conflict was not
made public, but NIAZI was ultimately appointed counsel and the
hearing was rescheduled for today.
Before the proceedings, NIAZI appeared agitated and spoke loudly to
his wife and reporters, saying “I need to reveal something to the
court, just what exactly is really happening,” he said. “These are not
my charges, these are all conspiracy.” His outburst was likely a
reference to his allegations that the FBI had talked to NIAZI about
becoming an informant, which is being alleged by Shakeel SYED,
executive director of Islamic Shura Council of Southern California.
SYED is well known in Orange County and nationally for giving
workshops and seminars to Muslims, teaching them about their civil
rights. SYED has also been a Muslim chaplain in the Federal Bureau of
Prisons and an outspoken critic against the Los Angeles Police
Department’s efforts to map mosques and Islamic centers under their
jurisdiction.
